Vegan Fruit Crisp

so last night..i was craving a cobbler/fruit crisp type dessert and got creative! i knew i didn't want to use sugar and i don't eat butter, bread, flour or dairy anymore, so i had to think in a new way to get the same taste without all the bad stuff. here's what i did:

i got some frozen peaches, frozen blackberries and fresh blueberries. always check your frozen fruit to make sure it is JUST the fruit and no added ingredients...it should just read "peaches" and "blackberries" in the ingredients...

i added the fruit together in a bowl...

...then i added cinnamon, pure maple syrup (100% pure maple) and honey to the mix.

Next, in a separate bowl, i mixed uncooked oats, cinnamon, walnuts and pecans with a little more pure maple syrup and honey (just a drizzle or two...)

I poured the oat and nut mix on top of the fruit mix and baked it at 350 for about 25 minutes

...and here is the result!! i loved it and Jesse did as well...it wasn't overly sweet and it really took away that fruit cobbler craving, without all the bread and sugar like the traditional version is packed with!
