Raw Raspberry Ganache Fudge Cake (Ani Phyo's recipe...)
making the cake:
i took walnuts...

...and processed them in the food processor with cocoa and dates, and added a little agave...

then, i formed the "cake batter" into two cake layers

next, i made the frosting:
the frosting started with dates, cocoa and a little agave...

then the "secret " ingredient to make it a smooth frosting consistency...avocadoes!!

beautiful and delicious raw frosting...

i frosted the bottom layer and added frozen raspberries on top

then added the top layer and frosted it

and just for fun i made a little more chocolate frosting with less cocoa and added the raspberries to it, making a chocolate raspberry frosting to garnish the top of the cake with

the cake turned out even better than i expected...WOW is really all i can say...so yum...so good...
